Claim It Now! – The Freedom Of Self-Sufficient Fitness – Part 3 of 3

This is the conclusion of the article on Self-Sufficient Fitness. Click HERE if you have not read it. Enjoy!

Remember, what we have to do is reshape our thoughts and simplify our observations. In doing so, we are going to see why many of the facts out there, and I say this facts in quotation marks or italics whatever you want to call it, are so misguided.

You will see how several of these facts are not validated, but they’re followed out of continuity because nobody has challenged them. You will discover how they don’t make sense, and are in essence, self-contradicting.

Take for instance, this issue of tightness. The popular belief, that if you feel tight you should stretch and do stretching exercises, actually goes against our very own physiology. What about this belief of exercising to burn calories? The way it is presented to us, it doesn’t make sense if we actually refer to the actual functions of the body. Let’s not forget how the whole concept of functional exercise is merely a collection of emotional statements. But it sounds so pretty that people just fall in love with it, and stop thinking for themselves. They start condemning other exercise methods and philosophies, and if it’s not functional, they are not going to do it. Kind of sad, if you ask me.

I hope you can see where I am going with this. We are going to learn to think on our own, we are going to learn to see things differently. It’s not going to happen overnight, in fact, it might take some time. The most difficult part is that you are going to have to learn to be open minded. And by open minded, I don’t mean agreeing with anything that reinforces your points of view. When you are open minded you actually seek to validate the opposite points. You will be surprised what you will discover. That is what I mean by being self-sufficient in your thinking.

I’ll get more elaborate on this point when I go over the point of liberated thinking. Once we liberate our thinking we can claim our self sufficiency, we can claim our freedom. We will be free to think on our own. We’ll be free to choose the exercises that are best for us, to change them whenever we want, whenever our bodies demand it. Free to change them because we want variety without any guilt, without anybody berating us. In doing so we can create our own fitness programs. You won’t necessarily have to write your own exercise programs, but you will follow what works for you, and what works for your body.

You will have a more productive fitness experience and your results will increase. You will be less likely to get injured. You will be surprised at how much more progress you will make. What I want to do next, is go over the next point. We are going to talk about Liberated Thinking For Better Health, which is an excellent topic. So I invite you to keep browsing this blog or this podcast and check it out for yourself.
